  • Hi there,

    I am trying to import my content from my wordpress.com site (frommegwithlove.wordpress.com) to my www.remarpro.com site (withlovemeg.com) I follow the export instructions and import instructions but after clicking ‘Import’ it loads for a few minutes and shows “error page not found”

    I have been trying to figure this out for a while and any suggestions would be appreciated

  • Are you actually downloading the export file from WordPress.com and then trying to import it into a www.remarpro.com site via Tools?

    You might want to delete the old export file and download a new one to try.

    You might try bumping up your memory limit (default is 50MB): https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-increase-the-maximum-file-upload-size-in-wordpress/

    It could be a slow host or internet issue. You could just wait and try later or look into if your host is having problems (Bluehost has been having problems lately).

    Or, worst case, there could be an issue in your WordPress install, in which case you would want to delete it and reinstall.
