• I just created my wordpress.com account and enabled the user register function for my blog. Although a user can register and receive password, he/she cannot log in the site. It always shows:
    Error: Wrong username.

I’m sure the username and password are correct when typed in and I cannot figure out the reason. Could anyone give me any hint about this problem? Thank you very much.

  • From what I can tell, the user accounts have been phased out of wp.com. They were a bit redundant anyway, a user would essentially mean an account holder.

I just started a blog there as well and can’t login… in Firefox, I can’t even get wp.com to load up…

Yep – I’m seeing breakage too.
It’s still young software though, so it’ll be back.

Yes, I also noticed that there is no “Users” tab on wordpress.com since I also use blogsome. So does that mean that right now wordpress.com doesn’t support user regitering to a certain blog and therefore only one user (the blog owner) can contribute (besides comment) to the blog?

Hoover, I also use Firefox and there is no problem with login.

    Thanks, podz.

I’ve found the link and I’ll give it a try.
