    I have a question is if I have a xxx.wordpress.com website and buy a domain name from there, is it will be can custom your site(Can put sign up bar or google ad those things?)
    If it’s not, which package can do that? Because recently I move my website to other, will be better just pay redirect function? But MY old website have more traffic than new one. Which choose would be better for me?

  • No, buying a domain or a Premium subscription at WordPress.COM will not give you full control over your site.

    You’ll have to set up your own, self-hosted WordPress site in order to be able to do that.

    In order for you to have full control over your WordPress website (no adds, install any theme that you wish to, have full SFTP access to your account) you would need to find a WordPress webhosting provider. There are many good WordPress hosts out there, usually the price for a single blog that does not have a lot of traffic is around $3-$5 per month.
