I’m now on www.remarpro.com and using MailChimp’s AutoChimp plugin to automatically send our published content out to our subscribers. However, I think there is a hangover from my wordpress.com days as my subscribers are getting two emails, one very much branded from wordpress.com. I’ve been told this may have something to do with Jetpack, which I did have installed when moving over to www.remarpro.com.

As instructed on the wordpress.com support blog, I’ve managed to log-in into my old wordpress.com dashboard, go to ‘manage delivery settings’ and turn email to ‘no email delivery’, yet it’s still happening. In my www.remarpro.com dashboard i can’t find anywhere that seems to have control over the emails going out.

Does anyone have any ideas on why these emails are still being delivered? And how to stop them. I really don’t want everyone to be getting two emails every time i post something new.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

Jetpack includes a module named “Subscriptions” that allows your readers to subscribe to receive email notifications about your latest posts.

When you moved from WordPress.com to your own self-hosted installation of WordPress, and if you contacted us at the time, we transferred your WordPress.com blog followers to the Subscriptions module on your new site, so people who subscribed to receive emails about each new post on your WordPress.com blog kept receiving email updates, even if you were not using your WordPress.com blog anymore.

If you don’t want these followers to receive notification emails anymore, you can go to the Jetpack menu in your dashboard, and disable the Subscriptions module. You can follow the instructions here to learn how to disable a Jetpack module:

    I hope this helps.
