wordpress.com Stats not logging me in

  • Hi,

    I installed stats plugin.
    From the dashboard submenu, when i click on blogstats, it throws the login page. When i enter my admin credentials, it says invalid password and does not log me in.

    try using your wordpress.com username/login (not your blog user/pass)
    worked for me.

    Yeah, it started happening to me too. It worked for a few days and then started asking me to login. I’ve tried logging in as every admin we have, but nothing is working.

    It worked for a few days and then suddenly started asking me to login. It doesn’t seem to recognize my admin password (or any other account info.)

    Worked great for about 2 weeks, then all of a sudden gave me the logon prompt. The only way I could get it to do anything at all was to input my WordPress.com username [not my local blog username]. That generated a password recovery email – but it didn’t go to any of my email addresses. I’m stumped. I’m on the latest iteration of WP, hope it’s not a compatibility/version issue.

    Can anyone shed some light on this issue?

    This plugin is worthless if you can’t log in. It does not recognize my account username and claims Firefox doesn’t accept cookies.
