  • Hi,
I think you’ll have to create a transfer request on the WordPress.com forums, and the staff will move the stats over to your self hosted website. That does mean you’re stuck till Sep 24, but hey, better late than never! ??

Okay Ashutosh, try this on for size…. This is cross-posted in the .org forums and the .com forums, since I am not sure where it should actually be (maybe in both?). I switched from a wordpress.com hosted site last Friday to a self-hosted www.remarpro.com site with Bluehost. It is Jetpack enabled. My subscribers have all been migrated (although a couple that subscribed to the .com after I switched to .org seem to be lost). Jetpack says that your subscribers will only be able to see your posts in Reader; however, only my first 4 posts have been in the Reader (I posted those immediately upon going live on the new site, none of the 3 posted since are in Reader). Ideas? I know WPSupport is out until the 24th, but don’t want to miss out on a weak of visits if I can help it. Did I misinterpret Jetpack’s capabilities? If I am not showing up in WordPress Reader, then why did I migrate subscribers/followers over? How are they being notified of new posts?

SO- After I posted that, I disconnected Jetpack and reconnected it to see if that would fix it. Now all the subscribers and stats from Friday evening-now are MIA. Hoping those can be recovered too…?

Plus, I’m still needing the stats from the .com to be transferred.

Is there anyone that can help me fix this mess before the 24th? I see people saying “I’m flagging this for staff support”… can you do that? I hesitate to even bother posting (which I do 4-5 days a week) while all the followers are MIA. Frankly, I’m just kind of beside myself, over my head, and pissed off right now, haha.

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

I’ll mark this as resolved since you had also contacted us via email, and my colleague Chase took care of the transfer of followers for you. If you have any more questions, do not hesitate to reply to him!
