WordPress.com Stats-How to move them from .com to self hosted?

    I moved my year old wordpress.com blog to a self hosted blog and installed the wordpress.com stats plugin.
    The plug in is working, but none of my old stats moved over. This is the same site, just now hosted elsewhere.
    Is it possible to bring over my previous stats?
    Should I try to un-activate and re-activate it?
