‘WordPress.com Stats’ dashboard preview broken
-
My problem, in short, is that my WordPress.com Stats dashboard preview is stuck displaying stats by only one setting — by days, for a month — no matter what I choose. Here are two screengrabs that show the stats and the options configuration I have set to no avail: [one] [two]
Now for some background on this…
Yesterday, my WP dashboard suddenly broke, and I got a message that there were two corrupt lines in http.php. Long story short, my php files had somehow become corrupted with hundreds and hundreds of lines of jibberish code, and my plugins, though still there on my FTP, were invisible from the dashboard and completely deactivated, as if they didn’t exist. I cleaned up the code, but the dashboard was still broken, and the plugins were still absent.
I then decided I’d just try upgrading to WP 2.9 via the one-click method. I did, and thankfully, my dashboard returned to normal, but my plugins were still invisible. (I only used two — WordPress.com Stats and WP-PageNavi.) I then reinstalled them both from within the dashboard via ‘Add New’, and they were back. WP-PageNavi worked fine, and the stats were okay in terms of functionality, but the dashboard preview was stuck on displaying a month of stats no matter what I would choose.
Thanks in advance for any help!
