    Hi,

I have been happily using the WordPress.com stats-plugin (version 1.3.2) in my WordPress installation for months. Well, almost a year now I think.

However, during the last 5 months, not a single visit has been tracked.

At first, I figured this was due to a WordPress upgrade and figured the plugin would be soon upgraded to support the newest version of WP.

But it didn’t happen. So it must be something else. (Surely, this wouldn’t go unnoticed by the community.)

Today, when I had a look at the stats (since long) and started thinking about possible reasons, I got the idea that it (stats not being collected anymore) just might coincide with my installing the WP-Cache plugin.

Does anyone else have similar experiences and/or possible solutions?

  • WP.com stats are JS powered, so they work fine with static caching plugins.

I use it with WP-Super-Cache (which is VASTLY superior to the original WP-Cache) with no issues whatsoever.

Thanks for your reply. It made me look elsewhere and find out that the problem was a theme-issue. (No wp-footer() -call.)
