WordPress x (any) Forums Plugins: Post auto comes in Forums?

  • I am looking and wondering if there is a plugin where when you post on a wordpress blog, it will automatically come up in the forum?

    If so, which forum is this available for?

    I am using SMF, but will change if need be, but if there is one for SMF that would be great.

    These are technical support forums. The intended use for them is for the posting of questions that pertain specifically to using wordpress technology and the provision of answers to them.

    I cannot fathom how such a plugin, if it did exist, would ever be considered as being in line with the intended use of these forums.

    These are technical support forums. The intended use for them is for the posting of questions that pertain specifically to using wordpress technology and the provision of answers to them.

    You may note that the poster stated that they’re using WordPress and SMF, a popular forum software that can be used with WordPress. The question is valid. Normally if one doesn’t know the answer to a question, one doesn’t post a reply.

    Best bet would be to use the rss feed from wordpress. SMF has methods of importing rss I believe. (I knwo it does for a sidebar at least.)
