    Hi!
    New here to the forum.

I am about to start building my webshop in woocommerce.
Our web host, Loopia, offers installation of wordpress and woocommerce via them.

What are the pros and cons with installing via web hosting, opposed to installing it by myself?

What happens if I want to change web host?
Is woocommerce limited in some way if I install via my web host?

    Hi there!

What are the pros and cons with installing via web hosting, opposed to installing it by myself?

No cons, really – it saves you a bit of time and you can rely on your host to deal with any setup trouble.

What happens if I want to change web host?

Then you’ll need to migrate your entire website. Recommendations for that can be found here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/wp-tutorials/how-to-move-wordpress-to-a-new-host-or-server-with-no-downtime/

Is woocommerce limited in some way if I install via my web host?

Not from WooCommerce’s side. Unless your host has implemented any specific restrictions, there is no difference between installing it yourself and letting your host do it for you.
