Hello, I came across this page and I just happen to be looking for the same thing. I have a WordPress woocommerce business and I would like to merge those users into my new Xenforo forums and vice versa. Can this be done?

    Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

XenForo does not support SSO authentication by default. To enable this functionality, you will need an add-on for XenForo that allows it to act as either a SAML-compliant Identity Provider (IDP) or Service Provider (SP) and connect with a custom IDP or SP.

    To integrate XenForo with WordPress:

    • If your XenForo site acts as an IDP, you can make your WordPress site a Service Provider using our WordPress Single Sign On plugin.
    • If your XenForo site acts as an SP, you can make your WordPress site an Identity Provider using our Login with WordPress Users plugin.

Based on our research, there is a XenForo add-on available that allows XenForo to act as an IDP. However, this setup requires your users to be stored and managed on XenForo. In this scenario, your WordPress site will need to be configured as an SP to enable users to log in with their XenForo credentials.

Please reach out to us using the contact widget on?this page if you wish to discuss anything in detail.

    Best Regards,

    Ishika Bansal
