WordPress won't update posts in IE

Hi,

I recently developed a site for a client, and made some dummy posts in Firefox. I just had a call from the client saying he cannot change an image. I asked what browser he was using as I know there is an issue with IE9 updating posts but he is using IE8. I run IE8, add any random character to a post, click update, I get the post updated message but the post does not update, it just remains how it was before the update.

I have deleted all post revisions as I read somewhere this could be causing it but it has not helped.

Has anybody else ran in to this? Seems like a big one as I know most of us on these forums will use Firefox/Chrome etc but the majority of “everymen” will be using IE.
