• I just installed Sucuri on my local server.
Previously I had installed and configured Bulletproof security.
After configuring Sucuri my wordpress site will not open.
I am getting the following error:
Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function wp() in D:\Development\Web\forum5\wp-blog-header.php:16 Stack trace: #0 D:\Development\Web\forum5\index.php(17): require() #1 {main} thrown in D:\Development\Web\forum5\wp-blog-header.php on line 16

I have checked my wordpress directory against another local install. The files are identical.

I have tried renaming the plugins/sucuri-scanner directory in the hopes of inactivating the plugin.
    I am at a loss.
    Can anyone help?

I traced the issue down to wp-config.php.
    It was COMPLETELY EMPTY.
Can anyone explain why this may have happened?
    Thanks in advance.

Did you use the hardening feature on the Sucuri Plugin for ‘Activate Automatic Secret Keys Updater’? If so, that may be the issue. I believe others had similar issues when applying that hardening and the wp-config file was completely wiped.

@carmpocalypse Yes. I did activate the Automatic Secret Keys updater. That very well could be the issue. I will try to verify it on a fresh local install.
Thanks very much for sharing your experience. I was beginning to think that I would have to exclude Sucuri from my planned (free) combination of plugins for the site I plan on deploying.
