wordpress website or wordpress blog??

1) three books in two languages (each book would be split into chapters)

I would set that up as three parent pages (one for each book) with child pages (one for each chapter)…but I do not know how the multilingual part should be added.

2) a series of articles in 2 languages (the number of articles will increase over time)

I would set those up as posts with categories that could be one for each book or even one for each chapter.

i do NOT want to have (at the moment) space for online viewers’ comments

Comments are optional, so those can be turned off.

i have no knowledge of computer code, programming, etc.

None would be required for any of the above.

if there’s any difference, should i set up a wordpress website or a wordpress blog??

You do not have to choose one over the other, and the difference is simply in the page/post selection and the development of your site navigation.
