    Hi guys,

I have an issue with my wordpress site https://www.masdelaboissiere.com
I am running the wordress theme “Sixty One” (see https://www.cssigniter.com/ignite/themes/sixtyone/ for details)
A few days ago the page didnt load anymore on any browser and I was getting the error message: “This webpage has a redirect loop ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS”
Back then I was still able to access the control panel via https://masdelaboissiere.com/Boissiere/wp-admin/.
I intended to check if this issue with the page load was caused by any of the plugins installed. I disabled all plugins and since then I am only getting a blank page and I am not even able to access the wordpress dashboard (blank page too).
I spoke to the service provider and they state that on their end everything is fine and he reckons that this issue with with the wordpress site itself.
I am a little lost. Any idea how to fix that issue? I am still able to access all files via the file manager.
    Thanks for the help.

    Lars

  • Try:
    – switching to the default theme automatically by renaming your current theme’s folder inside wp-content/themes and adding “-old” to the end of the folder name using FTP or whatever file management application your host provides.

resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin.

    Hi Esmi,

    Thanks for the quick reply,
    I have tried your suggestions.
After renaming the themes folder as prompted I was briefly able to access the wordpress dashboard again.
However, after resetting the plugins folder I am back to the old mystery of the white pages. The website only displays a white pages and once again I am unable to log onto the dashboard (same issue – white page).
I have tried back and forth (renaming the plugins.hold folder back to plugins as well as the themes folder) but I am back to the white page.

Any idea is more than appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi Esmi,

just wanted to let you know that I sorted out the issue with the creator of the theme. In the end the issue was cause by a plugin and the permalink settings.
    Thanks for your help anyways.
