Hi Art, because of the dynamic nature of the webinar pages (registration, confirmation, countdown, webinar) WebinarPress generates it’s own pages based on the same URL so you can’t edit them in the same way as you would a normal WordPress page.

With WebinarPress pro you can create your own custom registration and confirmation pages that you can edit with your SEO plugin. Once setup you just configure the pages in your webinar settings.

I understand about the custom pages and was the reason I paid for the pro version but when you assign it to one of your own pages none of the content goes with it so filling out all the webinar info and video is pointless and since there’s at least a shortcode available for those elements (except the form) then it’s pointless to even fill out that information if you’re going to use it. What I don’t understand is why those pages are not generated as a regular WP page as they should be.

You are correct, if you are going to use custom pages then you do not need to fill in the information in the webinar editor.

What I don’t understand is why those pages are not generated as a regular WP page as they should be.

Due to the dynamic nature of those pages it’s not practical to generate them as separate WordPress pages.
