  • This is not a WP question, but I wonder if anyone has thoughts on this.

    I maintain a Belgian website, but I have never head contact with the host, the ‘client’ (who understands nothing of it all and who had the hosting before I came in with WP) does. Now I have a weird thing that I can’t really get my head around.

    When WP sends me an email the sender is “WordPress” and the emailaddress the fictious wordpress@domain.be. In Gmail I see the sender as wordpress@domain.be via www.otherdomain.be. Now that other domain has (as far as I could figure out) nothing to do with the website that I’m working on, except the fact that it is on the same server.

    What do you make of that? Strange settings of the host, shared mailserver, my own misconfigurations?
