• Hello,

I am running a website with an Authorize.net Payment gateway. When trying to submit payment I got an error indicating the timestamp was wrong – so I went and looked at WP general Settings. The timezone selected was correct, however it displays 1 hour later than it should.

SO I looked at the UTC time WP provided – that too shows an hour later than actual UTC. I tried switching to a different timezone, and still the UTC time was incorrect.

I cannot find where the timestamp is generated in the WP Code Editor. We use the same host/server for this website as another website that also receives payments, so I believe the error is to do with WP.

    Please advise

WordPress actually gets the time from your server. If UTC displays wrong at Settings -> General in your blog’s Dashboard, it means UTC on the server is wrong.

I recommend contacting your hosting provider and asking them to check your server’s clock.
