    Currently, we are using “Scalia Child” as our theme for our WordPress website and have been doing so for several years. We are looking at doing a website update; part of this is potentially changing the theme to something else, e.g. “Hestia”. However, the problem is that whenever we try and change the theme we get this message:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function scalia_print_checkboxes() in /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-content/plugins/scalia_elements/inc/widgets/widgets.php:260 Stack trace: #0 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-widget.php(535): Scalia_Widget_Recent_Posts->form() #1 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-admin/includes/widgets.php(274): WP_Widget->form_callback() #2 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-widgets.php(1128): wp_widget_control() #3 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-widgets.php(1076): WP_Customize_Widgets->get_widget_control() #4 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-customize-widgets.php(714): WP_Customize_Widgets->get_available_widgets() #5 /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(308): WP_Customize_Widgets->enqueue_scripts() #6 /home/6 in /home/605392.cloudwaysapps.com/tkzaykkzra/public_html/wp-content/plugins/scalia_elements/inc/widgets/widgets.php on line 260

    We have gone through our themes and widgets etc. making sure they are up to date and removing what we do not use. The next steps are unknown, please let us know any thoughts or solutions!

  • Hi @birthma,

    Thank you for contacting us.

    I’m sorry but we’re not familiar with the Scalia theme and error is coming from this theme and specifically function scalia_print_checkboxes which throws that error but it’s hard to advise something without knowing the theme so it’s better to contact developers of the current theme about it.
