WordPress username/password same as PMPro?

I am in the process of making a membership website. I am using Paid Membership Pro. I read somewhere that your login name/password on WordPress (like where I am now) is the same information to log me onto a PMPro membership website… or that your PMPro login name/password are the same to log you into a site (like mine) using PMPro. I hope that’s not true because I only want paid users to see my content. Also, I want to customize the checkout wording where it currently says for example: “Membership Level (can I replace that wording with “Purchase”)

You have selected the?Course?membership level. (can i take out membership level?)

Purchase the Course now

The price for membership is?$500.00?now.”

Can I modify the above using Astra or Elementor, or do I have to get into coding for that?
