    Hi, there!

    I am to know about user registration / authentication with UM. I am working on a E-comm website, and in my research, it is not a good idea to use default user registration / authentication because of getting spam account. Thus, I chose to use Ultimate Member plugin.

    At this point, I got curious that the purpose of using Ultimate Member because it is kind of tricky to style the pages and components in Ultimate Member. It is seemingly not possible to style them with Elementor.

    Meanwhile, I looked at the Ultimate Member dashboard at the C-panel, it seems user data are stored in the same data attribute as WordPress default user data attribute. (I thought UM would make its own data attribute, tables and all of that.)

    So, my question is this. The sole purpose of using UM for my website is to separate the user registration and login endpoint from wordpress admin login endpoint, is it okay to use only login and registration from UM, and then use Elementor widgets to style other related pages like ‘my account’ or ‘checkout’ pages?

    All these are my speculation observing behavior of WordPress, so if I am wrong, please correct me.

    Yes, you can use only required features from UM and use elementor for any other required page.

    Thank you for your comment. Then, I could use login and signup from UM and make account page for users in Elementor without UM form builder?

    @cgray24 If you want to use UM profile, you will need to use shortcode inside elementor builder. If you want to use UM profile, you will have to use UM form.
