WordPress updates progress

Something strange is happening to me. For example, when I select plugins to update, the update starts but I don’t see any progress. Instead of informing me about progress, everything is empty. I don’t have a message at the end that everything has been successfully updated and so on.

Since I know what’s going on, I run the update and wait a minute or two. Then I click on “Dashboard” > “Updates” again. When I don’t have notifications about new updates, I know that previous updates are complete.

It’s a bit frustrating. And this raises a new question for me: Does such behavior have any impact on the rest of my website, more precisely, on normal functioning?

This happens on two different websites on the same server.

I’m using PHP 8.2. Do you have anything to do with (server) PHP extensions? What is mandatory for WordPress? Do I need to increase anything in PHP values? If everything is fine here, do you have any idea what else should be checked?
