WordPress updated, now all of my URLs have been changed to http

  • I had a website that was full HTTPS before updating, and now, after updating, all of my URLS in posts have been changed to http absolute URLs instead of the relative urls (starting at /wp-content)

    Why did this happen? Is this something WordPress does when it updates?

  • Try re saving your permalinks. If that doesn’t work, how were you redirecting traffic to https before the update? Recheck functions.php or .htaccess or whatever you were using to redirect to make sure your redirect code is still there.
