My web-site alteregovoices.com is working OK still, but I updated to 4.2 and the dashboard screen is no longer working (I have checked Chrome and Mozilla).

The left-hand menu is there, but there is no funstionality in the mani part of the screen.

I seem to get these errors on loading the dshboard page:

Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: print, (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.25), (min-resolution: 120dpi)

https://alteregovoices.com/wp-admin/plugins.php Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 (Internal Server Error)

There’s no longer anyway to enable/disable updates, plugins, posts, pages etc.

    Using Raindrops theme.

    Thanks

Try downloading and reuploading the files for WordPress 4.2 overwriting the existing ones, does the problem persist?

Hi – I can’t reinstall the files, as I can’t use the dashboard any longer….

I have asked my hosting company to optimize wordpress and clear the cache from their end. Will check it in the morning.

No – they “optimized wordpress” but it hasn’t made any difference

My hosting company found problems with the following plugins, which I will raise separately:

    google analytics dashboard for wp
    google maps ready
    remove goolge fonts
    wordpress https
