This website is currently at WordPress 4.9.9. It says that 5.0.3 is available to upgrade to.

Now, before upgrading I always take a copy to my development server and test the upgrade there, so this is what I’ve done. However, when logging in to the back end it tells me that version 5.1 is available to upgrade to.

So why is the live site only saying 5.0.3

The live site is on a LAMP server running plesk and the development server is a WAMP server, if that makes any difference (it hasn’t in the past).

    Suggestions please

OK, according to the techs at Plesk, they has to make a change to the DNS resolver. Don’t know what the change was, but whatever they did seems to have fixed the problem.

    Thanks for all your help
