WordPress-Update in the wrong language

  • I have a german WP installation of 4.9 with the latest qtranslate x plugin running.

    usually wherne there is a WordPress update available, I am offered to update to
    WordPress 4.9.1–de_DE

    Now with qtranslate, I get the message
    Du kannst automatisch auf WordPress 4.9.1–en_US aktualisieren: which means an english WordPress would be installed.

    I don’t want to mess up the installation with a wrong WP update, so I am unsure how to proceed. I tried to switch langauges in the post area, but this has no effect…

    thx for any suggestions…
