• Any help here is welcome:

    Been trying to add a plug-in which fails and states I need to update, which states when updating I should back up, but can’t add new plug-in for back up which is creating an endless circle of confusion : Basically seems like it’s all glitching out and full of endless loops. Is this a WordPress base issue? I have been getting this message for the last day or so?

    An automated WordPress update has failed to complete –?please attempt the update again now.

    The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

    currently your site is in Debug Mode, you have to deactivate it to access it again.

    To deactivate you need to access your file system and edit the file wp-config.php

    In the wp-config.php you will find a line that looks like this:

    define( 'WP_DEBUG', true );

    You have to switch the true to false, then try following the link “please attempt the update again now

    How does one

    “access your file system?“

    since I have never had to do this before?

    Thanks

    Jimmy

    Hi, you should be able to access the file system via your hosting control panel (Where do you host your site?)

    Chatting with Ionos now, seems there may be an issue with the latest version of WordPress 6.2? Not sure
