WordPress Update Error

    I have tried several times to update my wordpress to the newer version and it keeps giving me an error message. My site has been backed up, but gives me the below message every time I try to update.

    Download failed.: The checksum of the file (d41d8cd98f00b204e9800998ecf8427e) does not match the expected checksum value (96c0139b9052999e7d97731f80528743).

    Installation Failed

    Any one have any idea what is happening here?

    Usually this means that the transfer of the wp zip file did not complete successfully. Is your site within its quota for disk space? Is there free space on your server? Check with your host.
