WordPress update created an update.php error

  • After updating to 4.2.1 I started getting the error “WordPress could not establish a secure connection to www.remarpro.com. Please contact your server administrator.) in xxxxxxx/public_html/wp-includes/update.php on line 295.”
    I tried uploading the update.php file from the WP file here, but there was no change.

    So far, I’ve found that the error keeps me from searching/accessing new plugins, but everything else seems to be operating properly so far.

    Any suggestions?

    I’d suggest passing error onto your hosts.

    For more detail error, they can also check your server’s error log
