WordPress Update 4.1 fixes it :)

  • Awesome approach, I actually wanted to try out the plugin since I’m so often pissed off by the error that destroyed the br-tags.

    I literally planned to install the plugin today, but then the new WordPress update was there and before I tried the plugin, I tested the new WP-version for the above error. And the error doesn’t occur anymore!

    So: Thanks a lot to the developer of the plugin, your job is done now. ??

  • No, not all of the issues. TinyMCE still deletes empty tags such as FontAwesome <i> tags. Or any other code it does not like –

    This plugin is the only answer I have found.
