Also, I can’t click on the font size scroll to reduce or increase the size. I can place my cursor on the font number box and reduce it but can’t see how adjusts the article using CTL P like I used to.

I’m terribly sorry that you’ve experienced such problems with the upgrade. I have a crazy idea. Would you trust me with a temporary user in your system? If you do, send me the login information to [email protected]. Otherwise it’s hard for me to say what could be the problem. One solution would be to reinstall the plugin.

Never mind the temp user on your system. I thought you had problems with the upgrade of the Arlima plugin. I now understand that your’e having problems after that you upgraded WordPress.

Vic, do you think I could just uninstall the new version and reinstall the previous version, if it’s still available for download? I am down and usually by this time of day I have all of my articles posted. Falling behind the 8-ball. What do you think?

We have now released a new version of Arlima that is compatible with WP 3.5. Update the arlima plugin and you will see that everything works as it’s supposed.

Just installed it. So far, so good. Questions: What the difference between the 2 teasers? and how come you can’t type in in the Visual or Text tabs when setting up the post in the list? Vic, I see you still can’t reduce the title font size by clicking on the slider bar and pressing arrow key up or down. I can fill in the box for the font size but when I tab out of the box my cursor goes to the bottom of the Edit box.

1) The two “teaser” templates can be used to start off with when you’re about to create an article. Either you search for a WordPress post to create an article out of or use one of the teaser templates.

2) What your’e describing regarding the text editor seems like a bug. I would guess that the cause of this bug is related to your installation of WordPress, some other plugin messing things up. If you can try to deactivate all plugins and see if it still behaves the same way. What browser are you using?

3) You can not toggle the font size by clicking on the up/down arrow keys, your meant to drag the slider with the mouse. You should however be able to focus on the input and type in the font size (I will look into that)

Question: Are you still using the page template called “Article list page”? You should change to any of the other templates and choose the article list in the meta box called “Arlima”. There you will also find an input labeled “Width” where you put the width of your article column, this is used to calculate the the size of the images. How wide you should configure the list to be depends on your template.

Sounds good Vic. I use Safari on a MacBook Pro via Mountain Lion OS X. Prior to the upgradings, I could use the up and down arrow and see how to adjust the title size to make the article lay out more even. Sometimes it tends to bunch up 2 posts into about 2/3 of the entire column width so that the post above it is fully above with the other 2 subordinate looking so to speak underneath it. I can usually adjust it by changing the title font size and the width of 100-50-33-25%. It will work. Thanks.

Vic, I am sorry but I screwed up again. Just when I think I am getting better. I was trying to resolve the footer issue and now my front page is messed up at https://roundhousetalk.com. Let me see if I did this right:

1. Create the Arlima Article Page List;
2. Create a page named Article Page List with nothing but using the default template and parent is Home;
3. Create Home post which should have the Article Page List as the default template and created the Arlima custom field.

What do I create (and title) and use as the template to effect the front page I had this morning?

The setup has hanged since last release of Arlima. The old way of doing it still works but we advice you to setup the lists according to the check list you can find on https://github.com/victorjonsson/Arlima/wiki/Publishing-article-lists

Vic, last night it was working and I could add, edit, or delete posts in the Article List Page list from Arlima. First thing thing this morning, I can’t drag a new article onto the list. I can’t move any existing posts in the list up or down, or delete. I exited twice, pulled up the edit list, changed the total from 50 to 30 articles, saved and tried again with no change. When I go to the website, the front page looks normal. Any idea? I am using 2.5.7 version you posted last night.

#3 says “Down to the right you will see a meta box labeled “Arlima”. Here you choose which article list you want to display on the page.”

I don’t see anything labeled Arlima. Based on your helps showing by number the steps to create a list, which number should it be near?

Vic, installed the new version 2.5.7 as it appeared in my plugin screen as new update and it’s functioning now.

Vic, now after using the revised plugin, several of my images on https://roundhousetalk.com are blank. The image box is there with a question mark (?). I re-edited the images in each post in Article List and then some show up and some don’t and another may be then blank. And where I edited the image size down to 33%, it jumps back to full width. I have cleared my cache a few times and get mostly the same results.
