WordPress truncate description

  • Hi.
    I am using Powerpress for our podcast and WordPress with twentytwenty template.
    When posting a new episode and writing the description in the post content Spotify will truncate the text after a couple of sentences.
    If I paste the text in the excerpt box on the right side of of the editor all the text is published and not truncated.
    It seem to insert a read-more link or something by it self
    I have the settings correct for full text syndication in the wordpress settings > Reading already.
    What can I do?

    Is there a wordpress theme that is a perfect match with powerpress?
