wordpress title not valid xhtml (& instead of &)

  • hi,
    I have some post titles with & in it, and it doesn’t get converted into & amp; (added space to make it visible in this post) so, the validator shows me an error about that.

    how can I fix this?

  • Yep.

    WP has different rules for displaying titles and posts. Different rules for entering html entities from what is displayed. God help me, I’ve looked at the code and I wish I hadn’t.

    Go with the flow and delete the & in your titles and categories
