WordPress Themes/Plugins

  • I am in the process of creating a site with some specifications that I haven’t seen integrated into themes or plugins, this doesn’t mean they don’t exist, I just haven’t found any. Basically the site is supposed to display, for want of better word, the events, businesses, anything that is happening in Jamaica. So restaurants, shops, parties(or any event), churches etc. It is one thing to upload these manually, that seems a bit stretched, so I would provide allowance for users to add their information(whether business, event, etc) to the site. I am not sure if I am being clear enough but please feel free to provide some feedback and ask for further clarifications. This may be resolved by a plugin and not necessarily a theme. Here’s an example of what I would require.

  • I would check out a plugin called WebKite https://webkite.com/

    Sounds like it may be of some use to you in this instance.

    Hey, Dewane Mutunga, thanks for the reply, it definitely has some functionality that I could use. Will look into it.

    I am still open to other possibilities that could assist me in my project, so please offer some assistance where possible. Thanks all.
