• For example, I’ve made full sweeping changes of the theme’s style.css and header.php (several more) files. Yes, I know I should use a child theme. HOWEVER, I don’t want to override 4,000 lines of parent css in my child theme’s CSS. I need to touch the parent theme’s code. The Posts/Pages and all that are fine but the actual files seem to update/revert to their original state every 4-6 hours.

I looked at my site again this morning and all changes to files were reverted. I checked my FTP and it looks like at 5:33am all my files in themes/twentysixteen were touched.

I’m using git-ftp to just make changes through ftp. This is a weird one…

I talked to bluehost and they were oblivious to what could cause this…

This is killing me. Any ideas?

Same issue here, also Bluehost. It seems to be related to the “MOJO” plugin which is automatically added to each wordpress installation, specifically the Auto Update Manager functionality.

In your WordPress admin panel, Go to Settings > General > Mojo Auto Update Manager and disable the automatic theme updates.

    This should fix it.
