    The header and footer don’t come from the site-editor.php, but rather from the customize.php config. As a result the new wordpress theme is incompatible with your plugin.

    This is a great plugin and I’m probably going to buy it, but it needs this feature critically…

    Thanks for pointing this out. This change might require some fundamental changes in the plugin and the way it is structured.

    Immediate updates are not planned but we will be considering this in future versions.
