• I’m having a lot of problems with my images being too small. At first I thought it was an issue with a plugin I was using but now I think it’s either the theme I’m using or WordPress itself.

The size of the images I’m using is 800×574 (for all of them). When I view the images from my account (through media library) they show up in the correct size, but when I have them in a gallery (the standard or NextGen Gallery plug-in) they show up as 300×215. The url of the file that is linked to actually says “…/imagename-300×215.jpg”. When I insert them into the page (I am using pages not blog posts), they are, there are several options for size and I always select full size, 800×574. 300×215 is the medium size option. Is there something in the style that I can edit to keep the image size from being limited.

Here is the URL for my the page so you can see what I mean: https://www.aliastephen.com/quick-portfolio-slideshow/

Okay, jeez, trust me drive myself crazy and then figure out the problem as soon as I post it on the forum.
I needed to set the default size within the gallery to full. It seems that manually changing the size will not work…at all. By the way I’m using lightbox. Previously I was using NextGen Gallery but since I found the solution in gallery/lightbox settings, I’m not sure what the problem was with NGG…
