WordPress Theme Demo

Hi, while searching through the themes on the WordPress theme demo site with a friend to help her set up her first blog, one thing that we both noticed was how the Tree Bark image that’s at the top as the latest post is rather distracting from the themes. She selected several, we downloaded then uploaded to my blog to get a better idea of what it looks like with a normal (mostly text) post at the top under the header. I’m not bashing here because I have 2 gallery blogs that show almost nothing but photos but for a newcomer to try and image what a theme would look like in a typical blog setting it seems rather distracting. If I may make a suggestion, reduce the image size and make it part of a post with text.

I hope that I haven’t offended anyone as it’s certainly not my intention.
