• I have some free wordpress templates at my site: https://www.francey.org/

However, some people have been getting parse errors when they apply the templates to their pages, and others have not.

So, I would really, really appreciate it if some of you could generate some templates and test them on your blogs. Post if you get any parse errors (or if you don’t), and also what version of WP you’re using.

    Thanks so much!

  • I did look at your website. but when I tried one of your themes( a lack of colour), I founf that you are not generating the header text ‘h1’

Its somewhat a problem , as its kind of a requirement for any site to have a header, when the search engines are crawling through them.

    Think about that…

How would that cause a parse error? Parse errors are a PHP thing, nothing to do with XHTML.

I’m fully aware that it’s not generating a <h1>header text. I did it on purpose for reasons which I’m not going to go into here.

What I need is for you to help me with telling me whether the templates work in WORDPRESS or not. I’m rather behind when it comes to wordpress tags, and I’m worried that the ones I have are wrong.

the one that I tried, worked. ??

Thanks, what version are you using?

    Anyone else get any errors?
