wordpress tansfers

Hello,

I already have a site and I built the new one on /tryout. How can I transfer the new wordpress on the main web address. I don’t want to see ‘/tryout’, I want everything to be on the original and transparent.
A friend told me to export my .xml and reload it. If I do that, will I loose all the web priority that I have.

On one of my other companies/site, my original site is built on .info and last year a web ‘master’ built the new one on .com, to eventually tranfer it back on .info. Now when you google me, I come out something like on the 10th page

I hope someone understands what I’m saying.
