• Since yesterday my wordpress site has lost its way in dates only for WordPress.com Stats. Its showing stats for the previous day and did not move forward to a new date. The blog date looks fine.
I tried deactivating and re-activating the WordPress.com stats plugin but it did not make a difference.
    Can someone help ?
I am running version 3.1 of wordpress using a 2010 weaver theme and version 1.8.1 of WordPress.com stats

  • I am having similar problems. The stats page shows the following: “Generated 2011-03-19 03:23:02 UTC+3 “
For the record, I am located in UTC-4 (EDT). The server is PDT (UTC-7).

It appears that the clock that WP stats is using is UTC +3. Any ideas?
Updated to WP 3.1 a few days ago.

    W4FT

Ever since the date thing got weird, the stats aren’t adding up. The page with the graph on it shows completely different numbers than the page for each individual date.

Hopefully, they’re still working out the kinks!

My stats are resetting at 6:00PM EST as of Thursday this past week.

The time was set for Toronto. I changed it to UTC-5, but that didn’t fix the problem and they again reset at 6:00PM EST today.

The blog is registering the correct UTC and local time so I don’t know what is the problem. I’m on WP 3.01.

Also, the graphs and the stats are out of synch. i.e. the stats have reset for the day, but the graph above has not. Very ODD!

I also have Clicky stats running on the blog and they seem to be reading the time fine and are not resetting incorrectly

Has WP identified the issue and indicated what the problem is?

My stats problem is exactly as stated above by w4ft. I am in -4 UTC but stats page is recording a +3 UTC time zone. Graph and page viewing not in sync.

So has WP addressed this issue at all? I haven’t seen any explicit communication on it, and the stats are still incorrect.

Having a forum is great, but if there is no response from WP, what can we do?

I’m seeing the same problem. My blog is UTC but stats are being generated based on UTC+3. The graph and the summary table are out of sync. The “Top Posts & Pages” for the day are totalling to the same as the summary table.

Also, the entries for “Top Posts” and “Most Active” on the dashboard are blank, but “Top Searches” is populated.

    I’m running WordPress 3.1 and WordPress.com Stats 1.8.1

At some point during the day today, graphs and summary tables started being in synch again on both of my blogs, both for today’s dates and earlier dates. I didn’t change anything on my end.

I now have the correct UTC-4 time zone but the graph, referrer, and clicks are zero all day. Something seems to be wrong still.

I am having a similar problem. My stats keep going back to yesterday. Then 12 or so hours ago then current then back to yesterday. It was confusing me until I read this post

Same problem for me too – I’m getting stats for tomorrow before tomorrow has come. Maybe this is a time traveling issue ??

I was given this solution by WP support:

The time zone issue can be reset by doing the following.

    1. Go to Settings > General in your blog’s Dashboard.
    2. Set the time zone to another location and click “Save Settings”
    3. Set the time zone back to your current location and click “Save Settings”

After that you may need to deactivate and reinstall the plugin once more but you should be all set.

Stats have been working fine for me since I did that.

@consciouscat – worked probably by coincidence. A lot of us did just that but didn’t work at the time. I believe WP fixed the problem globally yesterday but unfortunately the dashboard is down again for a different reason.

    Ah, the old coincidence fix.

And yes, for the last hour or so, stats have been down again.

We’re experiencing some issues throughout the stats system right now and are currently working to correct them.

I am having the same problem…never a good time but now really is inconvenient…right in the middle of a blogging challenge where I am supposed to be tracking my daily stats…any estimate on when this will be resolved?
    thanks
