WordPress slow to download from Godaddy

Well the websites themselves aren’t particularly slow. But it’ s when, sometimes, try
to access wp-admin; then the downloading icon goes round and round for quite a while.
Can it be my computer?

Ah, ok, if it’s not something on the front end, it might be something interfering in the back end.

Try deactivating all plugins. If that resolves the issue, reactivate each one individually until you find the cause.

If that does not resolve the issue, try switching to the Twenty Fifteen theme to rule-out a theme-specific issue (theme functions can interfere like plugins).
