• Dear friends, you know why WordPress is slow in the admin panel, however, is super fast access to pages outside the admin panel?

  • i guess you must rewrite config.php or remove all broken plugins with your version of wp

The strange thing is occurring in any instance of WordPress, even installing from scratch and without any content, plugins or templates.

I imagine it might be some setting on my VPS, but what?

    Does anyone have any tips?

    Thank you ??

I imagine (although I might be incorrect), the admin area takes up more resources than the site itself – there’s simply more going on.

If you’re on a VPS, can you get into WHM (assuming that’s what you’re using) and up the RAM limit in PHP config?

Alternatively, talk to your host and see if they can raise it for you.

    My VPS:
    2 x 3.2Ghz + 3.0G RAM

memory_limit in php.ini is 256M, you suggest I change it?

No, 256M is far more than enough, generally.

What is “slow”, exactly? Is it slow before it shows anything, slow after things start showing up? Can you look at the timeline in inspector and see where the major delay is?

The static content like html pages, images, etc., opens instantly, very fast even, to my city, my ping is 30ms.

Actually, I use a Cloud Server and not a VPS as I said earlier.

However, when I access the administration panel, it takes about 40 seconds to go after authentication.

Then inside, every click takes about 20-30 seconds to open pages.

During installation and upgrade of plugins related errors are also shown the impossibility of connecting securely to www.remarpro.com.

I’ve tried to disable Mod Security and ConfigServer Firewall (and LFD) but there was no difference.

    Thank you all ??
