WordPress slow after activating Popups – WordPress Popup

    Hi,

    Has anyone else found a considerable slowing down of the front side and admin side of WordPress after installing Popups – WordPress Popup?

    Any clues to resolve this would be appreciated.

    PS we are using latest 4.5.2 of WordPress with Avada 4.0.2 theme.

    Not at all ??

    Same troubles… Gtmetrix and hosting are agree to tell us that plugin popup is very slow. More than 9 secondes to load completely !
    Any solutions ?

    @cloudbase64, is not the plugin itself if your hosting not able to handle many requests. You could disable ajaxmode in the settings page of the plugin to save that extra request.
    That way the popup will load at the same time as the rest of your page and will be included in the page cache (if you use any)
