WordPress site won`t scroll in chrome

    Hi,

    i don’t know when the problem accured but for a few weeks now my wordpress site won’t scroll in google chrome. I tested it on both mac and windows. it seems to work fine with other browsers like safari and firefox.

    do you have any idea how to fix it?

    This will having something to do with some of your javascript. Just a quick look while disabling all JS on the site allows the site to scroll in Chrome. You’ll want to go through and see which JS is causing the issue. It appears there are several js errors, fixing them up should solve your issue.

    Thanks for your response.
    I figured out which plugin is causing the problem. its the ultimate addons for visual composer. but i don’t know how to fix the problem. do you have any idea?

    Best is to delete the plugin folder and then install it again.

    Login to your site manager or FTP, then delete the ultimate addon folder. Go back to WordPress admin and reinstall it.

    As above, I would try and reinstall it. If it is still throwing errors your best bet is to report those errors to the plugin developer. If you were to make changes to the plugin yourself they would get overwritten on the next plugin update and you’d lose all your changes.

    Hey guys,
    thanks for your time!
    the plugin is combined with the theme i use.
    there was an update for the theme and the plugin. i reinstalled both and disabled “smoth scrolling” in the visual composer ultimate addons settings. now it works just fine.

    Thank you! Smooth Scrolling in the visual composer ultimate addons was the problem for me as well.
