WordPress site without WordPress login ??

  • First time here and really new to WordPress, so I apologize if this question is basic.

    Is it possible to have a WordPress website and not have a WordPress login?

    I had a website designer set up my wp-theme website on host gator. I need to make some changes and he’s telling me that there is no login, everything was uploaded to host gator.

    Problem that I run into, when I edit the text and save it, all the scrolling pages no longer work.

    Being a noob, this is giving me a headache.
