WordPress site updates updating and then reverting back to original state

  • I am experiencing issues with updated content being loaded to the site ( pdf’s and created links within the site) changes will show, and then an hour or two later, the site is reverting back to its original state as if the changes never occurred. The caching has been cleared. This site had recently been migrated to a new hosting service, and is currently using UpdraftPlus plugin.. I’m thinking it is a communication error within the database itself. It’s not only the content being uploaded to the site, but also the plugin updates had reverted back on the dashboard. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • Try disabling UpdraftPlus plugin and see if it continues.

    You can also disable all of your active plugins and see if your next update gets rolled back.
    If this works activate your plugins one by one and in between test if they are the ones who cause issues with your site updates.
