It depends on the theme.

I assume you are referring to the fact that when you insert the Site Title in Settings -> General, it appears on your homepage or every page. That’s usually a theme thing.

Try to remove the Site Title from WordPress’ settings, then just add the logo in the theme options. And for the page titles/site title, install Yoast SEO and you can add what titles you wish, without them appearing on the web pages themselves, of course.
