I am posting this even though I cannot be certain it is a WordPress issue. On my astronomy website, I have a Clear Sky Chart which should update regularly. It appears fine in the Edit Page mode but will not update on the home page. I have tried shutting off my anti-virus software, and three different browsers and they all display information from January 31, 2016, even though all caches have been cleared.

What is further strange is that the page displays correctly in a different computer, IPAD, Iphone and other devices. Also, when I update the page and then preview the update, the old January information is displayed.

I am running Windows 10 and the website is https://www.sidewalkastronomy.ca

After much testing, I found what I think was keeping the site from properly updating.

I had centred the image however the HTML code for doing that got embedded in the middle of the Clear Sky Chart code. I removed all the code and reset the CSC code with the centering code at the beginning.

The Preview works and the live site now displays current information. I will have to see if it updates properly. If it does, I will make this issue Resolved.

    A learning experience indeed.

Unfortunately, it appears that the issue has not been resolved. What is curious is that the Chart appears to be updated when I open the page in the “Edit” mode.

    Any recommendations are appreciated.

Problem solved I hope by shutting down Jetpack’s Photon.
